No Web Content Problem

Problem. You can created a lesson, test or survey as a set of web pages. However, when you click on the link to start it there is a brief flicker, but nothing appears. Maybe it worked on your own computer, but not once you upload it.

Cause. You have told Question Tools to open the test in a new window (this is one of the settings in the List Inspector->Options tab). When you click on the link the browser jumps to the index.html page in the web folder, opens the window, and then jumps back. However, if you have a popup blocker installed then no window is opened and all you see is just a flicker. If it happens only when you upload your content then this might be because your popup blocker does not block popups from your own web pages (on your computer), but started flexing its muscles once it encounters your popup content online.

Solution. Turn the In window option off (List Inspector->Options tab). Your material will not appear in a popup window, and so some control is lost, but at least it is not getting caught out by the popup blocker.
